Daily Rose: Starting at Bud Day 1 By Purple Rosemary August 26, 2012 bud daily photography garden gardening nature photography photography pink rose plant postaday rose rosebud I have a rose bush that clings to life every year. Several years ago, a storm pulled it up by its roots. It lives in a very shallow spot anyway, so it didn’t look good. We replanted it and I put a little extra dirt around it. It lived and thrived. This year, it got super dry and the plant started looking really sad. It had a few sad green leaves, but mostly looked dead. Then, it rained. Suddenly, it started growing again. The leaves were green and the roses were popping out everywhere. So, I thought it would be interesting to photograph it daily. I noticed a bud and decided to concentrate on that bud. I can’t see the whole post, the picture is blocking part of it. But I’ve seen this rose bush, I love it. Maybe one day I’ll get a clipping of it.

I think I fixed the cut off problem. You can certainly take a clipping if you want to.
