She was adventurous. Often taking off for the unknown on a whim. We never knew from whence the postcards would arrive. From Paris? London? Peru? One never knew where she might pop up next. She saw a great many places, ate fabulous food and met loads of people. She started traveling when she was young and never looked back. She saw the Great Pyramids of Egypt. She had homes in the Mediterranean, France, and the United States. When we visited with her, she made us feel at home and always welcome. She was dearly loved everywhere she went. Always the life of the party, her stories of travel never failed to mesmerize us all. She’s gone on now to the great adventure. She leaves behind a legacy of books and stories to carry us all forward. She will be greatly missed.
None of the above is true. But it gives me something to think about.
That’s cool! Night from Oz…Hugs Paula x
Thanks, Paula.
Kind of eery, but you write really well. Good day.

Hah! I was reading it thinking, “wow, what an amazing life”… and now I’m thinking, “hey, you still have time to make all of that happen!”
I’m thinking the same thing.

Hallelujah! Always dream big – why settle for less? 🙂
I have a tendency to make small, attainable goals. Maybe it’s time to shoot for something bigger.
It wasn’t finished until the disclaimer at the end. Definitely agree this was a thought-provoking (albeit morbid) prompt.

Very morbid. When I thought about what someone might really say, it made me sad.
Hahaha, I’m going to assume this was all true, and say you’re awesome :P. Even though you died… this post made me laugh 😀

Whoever the eulogy is about, it is someone we should all aspire to be! Thank you for coming by Wine and Cheese (Doodles) and deciding to follow along. I truly appreciate it.
