Daily Prompt: Mid-Season Replacement

This is in response to the Daily Prompt: For many of us the seasons are changing, bouncing unpredictably between cold and warm. Are you glad to be moving into a new season, or wishing for one more week of the old?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us SEASONS.

This is an easy answer. If you know me at all, you know that I love summer  – the green trees, the fresh fruits and veggies, the heat, the long days, and the warm nights.  Spring is a close second for me. Spring has the flowers blooming, everything starts to green up, the days get longer. Spring has the promise of summer. Fall has it’s good side, I suppose. Fall is good for the beautiful golden light and the nice colorful trees. There is pumpkin beer and butternut squash are nice, too. Winter is my least favorite, but I can find some positives there, too. Winter kills all the weeds that I let take over in the summer. And winter brings stout brews and hot, thick soups. And I can drink hot tea all day long without anyone giving me weird looks.
