The weekly photo challenge this week is containers. I had planned to do boxes anyway. It’s cool that it worked out that way.

I collect boxes. I have big boxes, little boxes, round boxes, square boxes, lots of boxes. Some of my boxes have come from friends and family. They have come from around the world and from local sources. Some are made of wood, some are carved gourds, some are painted paper mache, and some are ceramic. Each has a story and a special meaning to me. But the three plain wooden boxes in my collection are the most precious. They contain the cremains of three of my cats. Each held my heart in a special way.
