Daily Prompt: Burning Down the House

Your home is on fire. Grab fIve items (assume all people and animals are safe). What did you grab?

1. Laptop – because of all the photos and writing that are on it. I have started a dropbox to back things up. But haven’t been great about using it.

2. My old Mac. Mostly because it has some old scans that I haven’t backed up anywhere else.

3. My negatives and slides from the old days (before digital). I’m sensing a theme here.

4. That’s it. I can’t think of any more.

My house is full of things. Boxes, model trains, glass, books. But I would not run into a burning building for any of it. I’d let it burn. In fact, this might be a good time for me to purge a few things. Don’t worry, I’ll not be burning the items or my house for that matter.
