Don’t get me wrong. I love silly movies. You know, so stupid their funny movies. But movies that are supposed to be serious, but instead make me want beat my head against a block wall. Those are the kind of movie I’m talking about. Who sits around and thinks, “Let’s spend millions of dollars making a movie so damn stupid only Vin Diesel or The Rock will be in it. Or even better, both of them.” I just watched the last 10 minutes of the most recent Fast and Furious (5, I believe) movie. What? They have made 5 of these effing movies? Holy shit, if I had any faith in humanity, I just lost it. Anyway, I know everything about the movie from just that 10 minutes. That is not an indication of a good movie to me. Of course, the presence of Vin Diesel and Dewayne (The Rock) Johnson don’t lend much credit either. But then, there is Eva Mendes. What the hell is she doing in this movie? Do I have a point? No, just needed to get it out.
