It’s Not Always Broken

So, I have an electric toothbrush. I recently had to move it to a different bathroom. The first week, it worked fine. But then it died in the middle of brushing my teeth.  What the heck? I checked the plug and connection, all seemed fine. It died again mid-brush the next day. The day after that, it worked fine. But then the next day, it died again. I put new toothbrush on my shopping list. But when I got to the store, my bank account said, “not today, my friend.” So, I did not buy a new one. I’m glad that I didn’t. After some tinkering and thinking, I realized that the outlet does not work if the light switch is not on.

The moral of the story? It’s not always broken, it just needs a different way to charge.
