The name sort of gives this one away . Red HOPtober. It’s all about the hops. The label also hints at the importance of the hops. Please note the green viney things around the sunset image. Poured, it’s a dark, red, foamy brew. The scent, guess what – hoppy. It’s got a pretty strong taste of hops. That makes it a tad bit bitter. But I don’t seem to mind it. I’m having it with a horseradish and ale dip, it works. So, I’d call it good for party night with strong, tasty dips and crackers. Might buy this for the next get together with my beer oriented friends.
