Take a quote from your favorite movie — there’s the title of your post. Now, write!
Well, I ashamed to admit that I could not remember my favorite movies or quotes from said movies. I mean there are movies that I like a lot. There are only a few movies that I would watch over and over. The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix (3 times tops), any version of Jane Eyre (I have seen them all), and Hellboy.
So, I started this with “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” From the Godfather. The Godfather is not my favorite movie. Nope, I didn’t really like it much to tell the truth. But that is the greatest line. I mean I would never, never, never leave the cannoli. But as I was making the list of movies I’d watch over and over, it came to me – Hellboy.
I love me some Hellboy. If it’s on, I’m watching it. My husband thinks it’s hilarious that I love Hellboy so much. I mean, I’m the kind of woman who watches Downtown Abbey. Or anything else on PBS. I do like some goofy funny movies and a few sitcoms. And as I mentioned before Jane Eyre or any Jane Austen. But the Hellboy thing is out of left field for me. Maybe I like it so much because Red loves cats. Maybe it’s the love story.
The quote is from when Red is chasing monster across a busy street. He slams his extra large demon hand on the hood of a car and says, “Red means stop!”

That’s a great one. Can’t believe that Hellboy hasn’t shown up in any of my Friday Q and A movie quote posts. I’m going to have to remedy that post haste.
